Update II: House

I have been living in my house almost two years now. It seems wild that I have been back in Memphis that long. Here is the webpage I made about my house when I first purchased it. I read the commentary now, and it makes me laugh at how things change. My bedroom ended up sand-colored with yellow floral curtains and pillows complemented by a sage bedspread. I also painted the paneling in the den, which made a HUGE difference.

This summer, I finally have the funds and the time to do some major renovations. So, to make a long story short here is what I have in progress as I type this (and I really should be working):

• New laminate floors in the kitchen, dining room, entry hall, den, and down the hall.
• Wallpaper in the entry hall
• Tile in the guest bathroom
• Painting cabinets in kitchen
• Replace Countertops in kitchen
• Paint kitchen
• New leather couch, chair, and ottoman in the den
• New elephant hearth cushion and pillows for den
• Curtains/shades in kitchen
• New stove and microwave ( So I can finally cook again!)
  

Hopefully, this will be done by the end of June. Needless to say, my house is a huge mess at this point. I’ll post some pictures when I get finished!
