YR recap

Many of my comrades have posted about the recent TYRF convention, held in Knoxville Sept 9-10. To echo their sentiments, it was very well organized, and I think everyone had a fabulous time. My buddy Drew was elected state chair and set forth some ambitious goals for his two year term. Adam has a great recap of events and commentary. Don, the secretary, has posted some photos of the event. Fortunately or unfortunately I managed mostly to avoid his camera lens, except for the following pic, which has me rather precariously perched on a chair.
On Saturday night after the festivities, I went and shared Manhattans with my friend Jake. Jake and I go way back to our freshman year, and he has been one of my few friends to keep me grounded. Saturday night was no different.
